What to expect
In a private session, it's all about you!
When you work with me one-on-one, it gives me the opportunity to offer you a bespoke programme. I can take the time to really understand you and your body and lead you through a practice that is designed specifically to meet your needs and to ensure you receive maximum attention and tuition. Every person is different some want to focus purely on the yoga poses some meditation and relaxation, some mindfulness and some people want all of those. Private appointments can be for anybody and before the appointment I like to have a conversation with you via telephone to ensure I understand your purpose for coming to yoga, any health conditions you may have and what you want to gain from private sessions and to ensure I am the best teacher for you.
I can fully support you in each pose, giving you clear instruction and guidance. I can offer therapeutic and restorative poses to help shift movement patterns to reduce chronic pain and boost healing from injury. I can offer the kind of style of yoga that meets your needs I share tips and tools that you can use in a home practice as well as giving you a handout of the postures we have covered so you can continue to manage your own health and wellbeing and yoga/meditation practice at home.
People choose private sessions for many reasons, some are new to yoga and feel that they would like to have private sessions before going to a mainstream class. Others may have specific physical, mental or emotional challenges or specific health issues, some are sports people who want to help prevent injury or heal an injury. Some individuals want a strong physical practice where others might prefer a gentle restorative practice with meditation and relaxation. Yoga recognises that we are all different and unique.

Private group classes for more than 2 people can be arranged on an individual basis by contacting me directly.
Private sessions are offered at my studio South Norfolk but I can also offer appointments at your place of work or home. Extra costs will be incurred for me to come to you. Sessions can be booked individually or in a block of six consecutive sessions.

Appointment cancellations or rescheduling of private yoga sessions must be received 36 hours prior to your appointment time. Late cancellations will result in a charge of 50% of the value of scheduled services. Missed appointments are charged at full value. Individual and block sessions must be paid for in advance and 5 days prior to your appointment. Block sessions must be used within 6 months of date of purchase.
